Everyone on staff at BBBI has been involved with management and/or ownership of a bowling based business and in addition to asking ourselves weekly what we can do that help center operators with their challenges, we direct a portion of our budget to supporting the industry. Many bowling promotional endeavors, sponsorships and partnerships, regional, national and international in nature have benefited due in large measure to the adoption of the Kids Bowl Free Marketing Movement by an unprecedented number of centers executing this promotion together. A few of the major involvements:

  • Bowl Expo sponsorship of keynote speaker
  • 35 state and 45 city Kids Bowl Free bus tour with unparalleled local radio, TV, newspaper coverage for bowling
  • Bowl Expo sponsorship of automobile giveaway
  • Sponsorship of East Coast Bowling Show
  • Major contributors to B.V.L.
  • 2 years live national TV feature on Fox & Friends
  • Major feature on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams “Making a Difference” segment
  • Sponsorship of STE/USBC’s Mission Possible (8 for 8 & 10 for 10)
  • Sent two teams to the Bowling Extravaganza in support of the Bowling Hall of Fame
  • Provided dozens and dozens of marketing seminars for local, state, regional and national associations
  • Major investment of time and money to develop and support educational grant program in the name of bowling and participating centers “Bowling to Schools”
  • Directly support the budgets of 23+ state associations through the Kids Bowl Free State ED Program
  • Provide Bowl Canada with seminars, funding and other marketing support
  • Sponsorship of the Turbo Tech Collegiate Expo
  • Retain a professional public relations firm to work on promoting bowling at all media levels – six nationwide and Canadian magazine, featured in Southwest Airlines Spirit Magazine, Better Homes & Garden, Real Simple, All You, Disney Family Fun, Family Circle and others
  • Sponsorship of three regional tournaments
