Operators Report KBF® 2013 Produced A Super Summer For Their Centers

Six Years Of Growth More Centers Sign Up More Youth In Summer Of 2013

The Kids Bowl Free® Summer Bowling Program set records again in 2013! This past summer 1044 centers representing every state in the Union and every province in Canada except Quebec participated in Kids Bowl Free®.

All styles of bowling games were represented and while the vast majority of the centers featured Ten Pins, a good number of Five Pin, Candlepin and Duck Pin centers joined the Kids Bowl Free® Marketing Movement. This year the promotion registered a record number of children to-date going over the two million number to 2,086,692, over 220,000 more than the previous best year in 2012. The Kids Bowl Free® Program which started in 2008 now has registered over 8 million youth and their families with their local participating centers. KBF® centers added over 825,000 family contacts to their growing database numbers. Interest in bowling opportunities through participating centers continues to grow. The average number of kids registered per center moved from around 1,820 to almost 2,000 per center. This summer the majority of centers surveyed reported increased sales volume from rental shoes, food and beverage. Many reported their best summer in years!!
